You need to print and complete the Application Form then post to us – using the Freepost Address. We will review your application – if we think we can proceed we will contact you to arrange a medical. If we cannot proceed with your application, we will inform you as soon as possible in writing.

We need to ensure that it is safe for you to do studies. If you successfully attend the unit for a medical assessment we will then contact your doctor for your medical history. On receipt of this information our Doctors will evaluate and determine your suitability for the panel. If successful we will send you a Welcome Pack and confirm membership of our Volunteer Panel. We will then periodically send you dates of the forthcoming studies for which you are suitable.

This involves a medical assessment which lasts approx an hour at the Imaging Centre. We will take an ECG, measure your height weight and blood pressure. We will take a blood sample for tests including:

-cholesterol, liver function, kidney, function, anaemia.
