If we are able to proceed with your application, you will be invited for a screening medical to assess your suitability for joining the panel. This thorough health assessment will be carried out by our doctors and nursing staff.

Once on the panel, when you participate in studies, you will be paid an honorarium which typically varies from between £100 - £2000 to compensate for your time and inconvenience. You will also be given a payment for travel expenses.

You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to develop new medicines which may be of benefit to a large number of patients in the future. It is worth remembering that medicines prescribed today are only available because in the past, people have taken part in these sort of studies.

Depending on the type of study, you may have a variable amount of spare time. To help you pass the time we have within the unit;

• Board Games – DVDs/Videos
• Widescreen TV with Sky - Books/Magazines

or you can just sit back and relax.
